It is a three-week residential program that offers
an opportunity for bright and mathematically gifted
students to expand their mathematical horizon, improve problem solving skills, and explore
areas in advanced mathematics.
The Academic Curriculum is geared towards preparing students for mathematics
contests, such as
AMC 8/10/12, AIME, ARML, MATHCOUNTS, USAMO, and IMO. Students gain greater interest in Math,
better skills in problem solving, and more confidence in facing academic challenges. With an
outstanding performance in one or more of these contests, students will gain considerable
recognitions in their college applications.
Communication and Leadership Development: The setup of the programs
encourages student participation, helps improve communication and leadership skills.
Confidence sparkles when students talk about the things they are really interested,
with the peers who have the same interest. With the guidance of the experienced coaches,
students learn how to effectively articulate their thinking processes. Students are trained
to become better leaders and communicators in the field they are good at.
The Evening Seminars focus on introduction to advanced mathematics topics,
preview of Math related college majors and professional careers.
Entry Level Program: This year we have an entry level program for students
who are good at Math and interested in more challenges but haven't had opportunities to shine
in any contests. These students will be admitted based on a strong recommendation from a Math
teacher or mentor, and a strong parent statement detailing the student's Math talents and grades
in school. The admission test is used for placement in the Entry Level Program.
Overall, this program is for future leaders in all math related fields.
The Math Camp curricula are developed and taught by veterans in national and
international mathematical competitions.

- "Can we do more Math problems in the evenings?"
- "I took the AMC 12 this year. I got 127.5 on it. We had
our Chapter Mathcounts competition today-things I learned at MathZoom helped me
finish the Sprint Round easily. :)"
- (From a sixth grader)"On the AMC 12A, I got 112.5. On the AMC 12B, I got 100.5. Because
you are such a great teacher and taught me well, I was able to get these scores."
